Leon Whiffs 15, Oakland Tops Dallas Wednesday, July 17th , 2019 Led by an outstanding performance from starter Miguel Leon, the Oakland Invaders topped the Dallas Dragons today by a score of 6-2 at Tennant Healthcare Ballpark. The 25-year-old Leon brought his top game to the mound, striking out 15 batters while allowing 2 hits and giving up no walks. "He made a lot of good pitches out there," Dragons manager Juan Gonzales said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes." His record this season is 11-2 in 20 starts and Leon has a 2.81 ERA.
