Campos Hurls Desperados to Shutout Victory Thursday, July 15th , 2021 Sam Campos blitzed the Vancouver Mounties at Dell Diamond, pitching the Austin Desperados to victory, 6-0. Campos went 9 innings to shut out the Mounties, striking out 7. "I knew he had it in him, but it's still nice to see him put it all together," said Austin manager Adam Ponder. Campos surrendered 6 hits and 1 walk in the outing. To date this season, Campos is 13-5 with 20 starts and an ERA of 1.90 with 120 strikeouts in 156 innings.
