Stars Hurler Trevino Tosses Masterpiece Wednesday, June 30th , 2021 In an outstanding outing, Hollywood Stars starter Victor Trevino tamed the Vancouver Mounties with a 5-hit shutout at Hollywood Grounds. The Hollywood hurler went the distance, finishing with 4 strikeouts and 3 walks in the 1-0 win. "He had a lot of first-pitch strikes and kept us off balance with a lot of off-speed stuff," according to Vancouver manager Brian Burnett. "We just didn't get too many balls squared up today." On the season, Trevino has compiled a 10-5 mark with a 2.83 ERA in 17 starts. In pitching 127.1 innings he has 68 strikeouts and 33 walks while limiting the opposition to a .236 batting average.
