Ceballos Mows Down 16 Fire Saturday, June 8th , 2019 Hollywood Stars starter Jose Ceballos brought his best stuff to Hollywood Grounds today against the San Francisco Fire, striking out 16 batters in his club's 8-3 victory. In a strong performance, the 24-year-old Ceballos gave up 7 hits in his 7.1 innings of work and issued 1 walk. "I felt good out there," he said after the game. "My fastball had a lot of life and my changeup was sharp. It was giving hitters fits and working well for me." For the season Ceballos has earned no saves, worked 48.1 innings, fanned 76 hitters and recorded a 6.14 ERA. He has held opposing teams to a .280 batting average.
