5-Hit Game for Cross Wednesday, June 5th , 2019 Justin Cross was smoking all game at the plate, but couldn't finish his day with a victory cigar. After the 25-year-old Cleveland Wild Things left fielder tallied 5 hits in 6 at-bats, he was forced to watch as his club dropped the 6-4 decision to the Hollywood Stars. "That was no fun," Cross said to reporters after the game. "You hate to lose any game but it's even worse somehow to feel like you did enough to win." Justin Cross grounded out in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, doubled in the 7th, singled in the 8th, singled in the 10th and singled in the 12th.
