Goecker Spins 2-0 Shutout Friday, May 28th , 2021 In an outstanding mound performance, Vancouver Mounties starter Lance Goecker fired a complete-game shutout against the New York Nightmare at Nightmare Stadium. Goecker was the key to the 2-0 Vancouver win. The 22-year-old right-hander was in high spirits for much of the game, his mood largely unfazed by the 4 hits and no walks he allowed. "4 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter, as long as it was a shutout." On the season, Goecker has compiled a 4-4 mark with a 4.29 ERA in 11 starts.
