Hutchison on Fire, 5-for-7 Against (CIN) Palm Coast
Wednesday, January 6th , 2021
After a 5-hit effort to lead (CHS) Jupiter's 14-0 victory over the (CIN) Palm Coast Pilots, left fielder Tim Hutchison told BNN beat writers it had been "a special day."
"It really doesn't matter whether it's sandlot ball, high school or college, two hits in a game is nice," he said. "Three or four is better, but five or more is out of sight. And to do that at the Sun Coast Baseball League-level is really something special."
The 22-year-old player earned his accolades at Ballpark of Tampico with a spectacular 5-for-7 game against the Pilots.
"His swing is getting there," said Hammerheads skipper Jon Greenberg, who spoke glowingly of Hutchison after the game. "We want him to be quick with his swing, short and compact. We want him to be patient and go the other way when he can. Tim did that to perfection."
Tim Hutchison singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th.
Hutchison is currently batting .317 with 3 home runs, 12 RBIs and 22 runs scored. He has 20 hits in 63 at-bats.
