Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Nightmare
A good performance from right fielder Jason Brown helped the New York Nightmare defeat the Halifax Heathens, 6-4. Brown was 2-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for the Nightmare. Adam Holland, 3-6, earned the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 1.1 innings. Picking up the save was Justin Gravely, his 2nd.

In the bottom of the eighth, the Nightmare grabbed the lead when Brown hit his 20th double of the season. The bases-clearing double off Gordie Clifford made it 6-3, New York.

"Winning never gets dull," said Brown.

The win gives the Nightmare a record of 23-61.
