Whistlers Take Home 4-2 Win Over Indianapolis
|
Antonio Higuera, who finished 4th in the AC in ERA with 3.21 in 2010, propelled his team to victory over the Indianapolis Eagles. The final score was 4-2, Boston. The winning pitcher was Higuera, now 6-6. He tossed 6.2 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 7. The victory gives Boston a record of 42-38.
It could have been a different outcome for Boston, had it not been for Brian Roseman, the 24-year old third baseman . Roseman contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put Boston up, 3-0.
"When this team comes together and plays the way we can, we can compete with anyone," said Roseman. "I think we're going to keep proving that."
