The Orono Oaks earned a close win over the Walnut Park Bobcats, thanks in part to Matt Haselden. The Orono right-hander, who is tied for 8th in the StC in complete games with 1, played a key role in the 3-2 victory. Orono now has a record of 84-59 with the win.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the 12th for Orono. That's when Paul McComas hit a run-scoring double off 27-year old left-handed pitcher Keith Bader to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," McComas said.
