Bobcats Suffer 6-3 Home Defeat
The Quebec Aces defeated the Walnut Park Bobcats, 6-3, in Stripes Conference action at Ballpark of Walnut Park. Quebec pitcher Justin Hesley had a standout performance. Hesley got the win, improving to 12-6. He gave up 5 hits and walked 2 over 5 innings. He allowed 3 runs. Evan Pullman picked up the save for Quebec, his 5th of the year.

An inflection point occurred with no one out in the top of the fourth. That's when Aces catcher Cesar Pereira hit a fastball from Brad Porretta for a 2-run single. Just like that, Quebec was up, 2-1.

Hesley attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."

The 'W' lifts Quebec's record to 72-72.
