Sam Bingle left his imprint on the 6-4 Tucson win against the Ann Arbor Z's. Bingle was 2-3 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. The win was credited to 25-year old right-handed pitcher Humberto Lopez in relief. His record improves to 2-3. Ahmed Harris took the loss. The Raccoons, at 63-79, inhabit last place in the Stripes Conference West Division.
With Tucson trailing 2-0 in the bottom of the second, Bingle hit a cutter from Myung-gu Lee for a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Raccoons ahead, 3-2.
"We're just going to try to build off this win," said Bingle.
