The Denver Pilots downed the New Rochelle Purple Wave, 16-6, at Ballpark of Lexington. Nate Richardson led the way, going 4-for-5 for Denver. Denver reliever Chris Anderson snagged the win, upping his record to 6-2. Everett Treadwell shouldered the loss. With the victory, the Pilots record stands at 68-73.

Austin Bonneau had a big grand slam home run for the Pilots in the top of the first inning. With Denver leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he sized up a changeup from 29-year old right-handed pitcher Everett Treadwell and punished it. The result was his 13th home run of the season, which put the Pilots on top, 5-0.

"Their at-bats were really impressive against us," said losing manager Brent Boudreau.
