The Dillonvale Indians got a superb performance from pitcher Jesus Garcia, but the Spokane Selects still won the game, 4-3. Garcia threw 5.0 innings of shutout ball. Moises Gonzalez was the winner. Over 7 innings, he yielded 3 runs on 9 hits, with 2 walks and 4 strikeouts. Mike Watts earned save number 5 this season.
With runners on 1st and 2nd and one out in the top of the eighth inning, left fielder Eddie Mongold delivered big for the Selects. Spokane was trailing 3-0 when he belted a 3-run home run.
