Selects Squelch Oaks Offense in Shutout Win
The Spokane Selects got a stellar performance from pitcher Mike Canales, who handcuffed the Orono offense en route to a win, 5-0, at Selects Ballpark. The victory gives Spokane a record of 75-64.

The Selects got an important contribution from first baseman Bryan Bejarano, who in the bottom of the first punched a full count cutter into left-center for a 3-run home run. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Selects ahead, 4-0.

"We'll savor this win," Bejarano told the Spokane Today, "then get ready for the next game."
