The New Rochelle Purple Wave beat the Ann Arbor Z's, 6-3, at Ballpark of Lexington. Travis Stroupe, in particular, was impressive. He was 2-3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Blake Banks, the winner, is now 9-12. He struck out 4 and walked 0 over 5 innings, while allowing 2 runs on 8 hits. New Rochelle goes to 60-81, Ann Arbor to 56-85.

New Rochelle took a 6-2 lead on Stroupe's 1st double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which he hit off Jimmy Carr in the bottom of the sixth, propelled New Rochelle to the win.
