Purple Wave Use Late Rally to Win
Ken Day was a major contributor to the 7-5 New Rochelle win over Tucson. The Purple Wave center fielder went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. With the victory, the Purple Wave upped their record to 75-66.

Day had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 3-1 fastball from Brad Kitts, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Purple Wave a 7-5 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Day.

"We had some nice at-bats at the right time," said Purple Wave manager William Gregg.
