Pilots Suffer 4-1 Road Loss
The Quebec Aces topped the Denver Pilots, 4-1, in Stripes Conference action at Belmont Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Quebec pitcher Jim Wallace. Quebec, now 80-57, holds down second place in the Stripes Conference East Division.

The Aces had to work out of trouble in the top of the sixth. The score was 4-1, Quebec, with one out. Denver, with runners on 1st and 2nd, was mounting a threat. Jim Green dug in at the plate, but on a 2-2 fastball, he popped out.
