Z's Take Home 4-3 Win Over Spokane
|
The Z's grabbed a win, 4-3, at Knights Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from Spokane pitcher Aaron O'Brien. O'Brien went 5 innings and allowed 3 runs. The 5th-place Z's have won 5 consecutive games.
Ann Arbor third baseman Pat Bell helped the Z's go up, 4-3, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Bell hit a run-scoring single off Spokane pitcher Rich Sargent.
"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Spokane skipper Chris McLure.
