A 5-RBI performance from the 26-year old shortstop Dylan Waters helped the Walnut Park Bobcats beat the Palm Springs Heat, 10-2. Ryan Larkins earned the save, his 1st in 2 tries. With the win, Walnut Park upped its record to 73-64.

With Walnut Park leading 3-2 in the bottom of the fourth, Brad Reynolds hit a run-scoring single off Palm Springs pitcher Brent Gudim. It put the Bobcats ahead 4-2.

Palm Springs manager Rogelio Sanchez summed up his team's performance in one word: "Pathetic."
