Ann Arbor catcher Scott LaCroix had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 6-4, to Randolph at Knights Ballpark. LaCroix was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Brian Underwood earned the win to go to 15-9. He allowed 3 runs on 8 hits, with 2 walks and 2 strikeouts in 6 innings of work. Randolph used a clutch at-bat from Matt Anderson to capture the win. The first baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Prairie Thunder ahead, 4-3. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

Anderson said afterward that his team has grown over the course of the season, adding: "It feels good when a plan comes together."
