Z's Win at Home, 5-3

The home crowd had a good time watching the Randolph Prairie Thunder and Ann Arbor Z's get after it.
The Ann Arbor Z's picked up a win at Knights Ballpark, topping the Randolph Prairie Thunder, 5-3. On the mound for Ann Arbor was left-hander Nate Stout. He played a principal role in the triumph. Josh Kuhn notched his 15th save in 20 chances.
Ann Arbor left fielder Gary Furlow contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With two down, he hit a cutter to right field for a 2-run single. It was his 41st hit of the season and put the Z's ahead, 5-1.
"Winning is all that really matters and we got it done today," Furlow told the Ann Arbor Gazette.
Ann Arbor now has a record of 73-61 with the win.
