Chris Beasley, who is tied for 4th in the StC in runs scored with 71, knocked in 4 runs to help the Hickory Crawdads win, 8-3, over the Randolph Prairie Thunder. Travis Erb, credited with the save, is now 1 for 1 in save opportunities. Hickory leads the Stripes Conference West Division by 12 games.

With Hickory trailing 3-2 in the bottom of the fifth, Beasley hit a cutter from Brian Underwood for a 3-run home run. It was his 19th home run of the season and put the Crawdads ahead, 5-3.
