The Quebec Fighting Quakers picked up a win at Ballpark of Walnut Park, downing the Walnut Park Bobcats, 5-4. On the mound for Quebec was right-hander Richard Alter, who played a pivotal role in the win. Quebec reliever Brian Kauppinen was the winner. His record is now 5-7. Tony Wooten took the loss. The Fighting Quakers improved to 56-75.

It could have been a different outcome for Quebec, had it not been for Noah Mitchell, the 25-year old right fielder . Mitchell contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning to put Quebec up, 5-4.

Quebec manager Jeff Gray called it "a good, solid win."
