The Walnut Park Bobcats rode a solid performance from 26-year-old starting pitcher Kyle Sandor to a win, beating the Dillonvale Indians, 6-2, at Ballpark of Walnut Park. Sandor got the win, improving to 8-10. He gave up 5 hits and walked 1 over 6 innings. He allowed 1 run. Sean Rosato picked up the save for Walnut Park, his 13th of the year.

Jeff Newingham had a big bases-clearing triple for the Bobcats in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Walnut Park leading 3-0 and the bases loaded, he got a cutter from 22-year old right-handed pitcher Bill Roderick and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Bobcats ahead, 6-0.

"The only difference is executing pitches and not executing pitches," said Sandor. "When you don't execute, you get beat. When you execute, you usually give your team a chance to win."
