Hidalgo Rips 2 Home Runs in 8-1 Selects Triumph
The home crowd had a good time watching the Ann Arbor Z's and Spokane Selects get after it.

The Spokane Selects topped the Ann Arbor Z's, 8-1, in Stripes Conference action at Selects Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of Spokane shortstop David Hidalgo. Spokane is now 72-56. Ann Arbor is 55-73.

The Z's had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Selects going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 28-year old center fielder Lee Muza came to the plate. Muza hit a solo home run on a 1-1 fastball from Ann Arbor hurler Mike Medley. It was Muza's 8th home run of the year.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Muza.
