The Prairie Thunder grabbed a win, 6-4, at Toros Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from Quebec pitcher Andy Swift. Swift went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. Josh McPherson, now 5-0, was credited with the win in 2.1 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 0. Randolph goes to 80-47. The win puts them 6 games up in their division.

Matt Gaylord helped out the Randolph cause in the top of the ninth inning with a 2-run double. For the game, the left fielder went 1-2 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"We take it day by day here," said Gaylord, "and today was a good one for us."
