Fighting Quakers Snatch Late-Game, 5-4 Win
Tucson got a terrific game from second baseman Dionigi Castellani. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Quebec, 5-4, in 12 innings. Castellani went 4-5 with 2 doubles, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Quebec reliever Tommy LaBiche picked up the win, upping his record to 4-3. Oscar Hernandez was saddled with the loss. The current losing streak for Tucson has reached 4 games.

The game-ending blow was delivered by Joe Tinson in the bottom of the 12th. That's when he hit a run-scoring double off 26-year old right-handed pitcher Oscar Hernandez to win it for Quebec and cause the home crowd to erupt in celebration.

"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Tinson.
