Westwood Bruins starter John Blackman turned in a sparkling performance against the New Rochelle Purple Wave, leading his team to a 2-1 win. Blackman picked up the win for Westwood, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 8 hits. He now sports a record of 4-3. Bobby Corbo earned the save for Westwood, his 5th of the year.
