The Westwood Bruins handed the New Rochelle Purple Wave a loss at Ballpark of Lexington. The final score was 10-2. Brad Kretsch made the highlight reel for Westwood. The Purple Wave had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Bruins going into the top of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 21-year old right fielder Tim Gregg came to the plate. Gregg hit a run-scoring double on a 0-1 fastball from New Rochelle hurler Kevin Clinger. It was Gregg's 15th double of the year.
