The Quebec Aces got a good effort from starter Justin Hesley in defeating the Orono Oaks at Belmont Park. The final score was 2-0. Evan Pullman sewed up the save, his 1st. The setback makes Orono 69-56.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Aces had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the third, when third baseman Humberto Castano hit a run-scoring single. The single came off D.J. Urbanek and made the score 1-0, Aces. Castano went 1 for 4.

Quebec manager Elias Nunez called it "a good, solid win."
