Simon Scales never let the Pilots get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his cutter, to pitch the Prairie Thunder to a win, 2-0. Scales yielded no runs over 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 5, and struck out 6. His record improves to 6-12. Brad Antol closed it out for Randolph, earning his 15th save.
