The Palm Springs Heat finished off the Denver Pilots, 6-3. Much of the credit belonged to shortstop Eric Milbrandt. Milbrandt went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Heat. Palm Springs has now won 5 straight, while the Pilots have lost 3 in a row.
