Dillonvale pitcher Bill Roderick had a large part in his team beating the Palm Springs Heat, 4-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Stephen Keene finished the game for Dillonvale and earned his 3rd save. The triumph makes Dillonvale 23-99.
Making an impact for Dillonvale was first baseman Matt Peterson. He drilled a 2-run double off Andy Waring in the bottom of the third. For the game, Peterson was 1 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI.
"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Peterson. "You've got to get results."
