Crawdads Rally Late to Clip Ann Arbor
The Hickory Crawdads got a marvelous performance from pitcher Ray Fight. The right-hander kept the Ann Arbor offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 3-2 Hickory victory at Crawdad Park. Hickory is 72-49 and Ann Arbor, with the loss, 54-67.

Hickory got a game-changing hit from Nate Roberts. The third baseman blasted a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a winner.

Fight attributed the win to his team's "steely resolve."
