The Ann Arbor Z's got a superb performance from pitcher Dionísio Manteigueiro, but the Westwood Bruins still won the game, 5-2. Manteigueiro threw 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball. The victory gives the Bruins a record of 71-48.
Westwood went up, 3-2, on Jon Wagner's 15th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Wagner hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Ann Arbor pitcher Jon Gunter shaking his head.
"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Wagner told the Westwood Today.
