Quebec beat Orono at University of Maine Stadium, eking out a 4-3 win. The triumph was primarily due to center fielder Mike Bolden. He was 2-4 with 2 home runs. The Aces raised their record to 64-54.

Bolden had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 2-2 fastball from Tim Suttle, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Aces a 4-3 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Bolden.

Bolden said his team "played with determination."
