The Dillonvale Indians handed the Quebec Fighting Quakers a loss at Black Diamonds Ballpark. The final score was 4-2. Keith Cole was one of the major contributors for Dillonvale. In addition to his 1 single and 1 home run, he scored 1 run and drove in 1. Brandon Williams closed it out for his 3rd save. The win gives the Indians a record of 32-85.
Tied up with the Fighting Quakers in the bottom of the fifth inning, the Indians got a boost from catcher Trey Lacey. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Lacey saw a 1-0 fastball from Nick Dragon and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put Dillonvale on top, 3-2.
"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Lacey.
