5 Straight Wins for Crawdads
The Hickory Crawdads got a magnificent effort from pitcher Marquise Robinson, who kept Fremont hitters in check en route to a 3-1 Crawdads win at Hedgehogs Ballpark. Josh Kuhn picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-1. Ryan Butler, who is tied for 9th in the StC in saves with 12, was tagged with the loss. Hickory has run its win streak to 5 in a row.

Hickory used the clutch hitting of Ricardo Herrera to snag the win. The left fielder drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Crawdads ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a crucial one.

"We didn't go down without a fight," said Fremont manager Elias Nunez.
