Walnut Park Bobcats starter Antonio Alvarez turned in a top-notch performance against the Ann Arbor Z's at Knights Ballpark. The result was a win for the Bobcats, 3-1. With the win, Walnut Park upped its record to 72-43.
Bill Bragg had a direct impact on the outcome. Bragg contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the seventh inning to put Walnut Park up, 3-1.
"When you are able to locate the ball, good things are going to happen," said Alvarez.
