The Randolph Prairie Thunder locked up a win at Selects Ballpark, knocking off the Spokane Selects, 7-2. On the mound for Randolph was right-hander Ricardo Rincon. He played a major role in the triumph. The loss makes Spokane 60-55.

Randolph won the game in part because of Matt Doughty. The designated hitter ripped a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Prairie Thunder ahead, 4-2. For the game, Doughty had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"If the personal accolades come, so be it," said Doughty. "I just want to win ballgames."
