Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Dillonvale Indians and Quebec Fighting Quakers.

Though he had a terrific game, Ben Leonardi could not prevent his team, the Quebec Fighting Quakers, from absorbing a loss. Dillonvale won the game, 5-3. Leonardi was 2-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Dillonvale starter Nate Roberson was credited with the win after throwing 87 pitches over 5 innings. His record now stands at 3-10.

Luis Colindres dealt the Fighting Quakers a blow in the top of the fifth. Batting with the bases loaded and Dillonvale leading 4-2, Colindres hit a first pitch splitter for a run-scoring single.

"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Indians manager Armando Cisneros. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."

The Indians go to 25-90 with the win.
