Aces Nip Bobcats, 2-1
|
Quebec Aces starter Marquise Robinson found his groove in his team's 2-1 win over the Walnut Park Bobcats. Quebec has 3 straight wins, Walnut Park 3 straight losses.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Quebec shortstop Andy Gatz, facing Adam Noland, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Aces the 2-1 win.
"Runs were at a premium," said Quebec manager Arturo Rivera.
