Walnut Park Loses, 6-5, to Quebec in 12
The Quebec Aces did just enough to nip the Walnut Park Bobcats, 6-5, in 12 innings. Quebec pitcher Ryan Simpson, in particular, had a standout performance. The Aces are now 60-53, while the Bobcats fall to 61-52.

The decisive blow was delivered by Mike Johnson in the bottom of the 12th when he hit a solo home run off 23-year old right-handed pitcher Heath Johnston to win the game for Quebec. The home crowd went nuts.

"This game will punch you right in the mouth," said Simpson. "My job is to show up and give my team a chance."
