The Ann Arbor Z's met little resistance from the New Rochelle Purple Wave, beating them, 12-0, at Knights Ballpark. David Stallman led the way. He went 1 for 2 with a home run and 3 walks, while scoring 2 and driving in 5 for Ann Arbor. The loss makes New Rochelle 51-61.

With Ann Arbor leading 8-0 in the bottom of the seventh, Stallman came up to bat against New Rochelle pitcher Jimmy Carr. Stallman hit a slider to left-center for a grand slam home run. His 3rd home run of the season put the Z's on top, 12-0.

New Rochelle manager Zach Freeman called the blowout loss "undesirable."
