The Quebec Fighting Quakers defeated the Denver Pilots by the score of 13-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to shortstop Nick Nunley. Nunley was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the Fighting Quakers on the day. The second-place Fighting Quakers are now 64-50, the Pilots 57-57.

With Quebec leading 4-2 in the top of the second, Nunley hit a sinker from David Fry for a grand slam home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Fighting Quakers ahead, 8-2.
