Tony Espinoza, who is tied for 10th in the StC in wins with 8, propelled his team to victory over the Orono Oaks. The final score was 4-2, Walnut Park. Tommy Swift locked down his 1st save. The Bobcats are now 60-53.
The Bobcats got a big at-bat from first baseman Nate Sheridan. For the game, Sheridan went 1-3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 20th home run of the season gave Walnut Park a 2-1 lead.
Walnut Park manager Perry Glickman attributed the win to "a little bit of this and a little bit of that."
