Bruins Earn Win with Late Rally
The home crowd was treated to a thrilling, walk-off win.

The Westwood Bruins snuck past the Tucson Raccoons, 2-1, in 10 innings. Westwood pitcher Shawn McMurtry, in particular, had a standout performance. With the win, Westwood pushed its record to 58-52.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Westwood. That's when Jose Morales hit a solo home run off 24-year old right-handed pitcher Luis Mora to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"Shawn pitched like a son-of-a-gun," said Westwood manager Nate Hendrickson.
