The Spokane Selects used the hitting of first baseman Ricky Plascencia to subdue the Ann Arbor Z's, 9-2. For the game, Plascencia was 3-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Spokane has now won 4 straight.

The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Plascencia hit a 3-run home run off Toshimichi Miyakawa. It propelled the Selects into the lead, 5-2.

"You need to show up when your number's called," said Plascencia.
