The Quebec Aces topped the Ann Arbor Z's, 2-0, in Stripes Conference action at Belmont Park. The standout performance belonged to Quebec pitcher and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, native Ryan Simpson. Kyle Thompson closed it out for Quebec, earning his 6th save. Quebec has now won 6 games in a row.

Rich Cloutier swatted a solo home run for Quebec in the bottom of the fifth. The right fielder went 2 for 3 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and batted in 1.
