The Walnut Park Bobcats beat the Westwood Bruins, 10-6, at Ballpark of Walnut Park. The Bobcats got a fine performance from right fielder Ron Cardwell, who went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The Bobcats have an impressive 65-41 record.

In the bottom of the eighth, the Bobcats grabbed the lead when Cardwell hit his 16th home run of the season. The grand slam home run off Brandon Williams made it 10-6, Walnut Park.
