Larson, Walnut Park Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
|
In a well-pitched game between the Walnut Park Bobcats and the Quebec Fighting Quakers, pitcher Beau Larson was fantastic. The Walnut Park right-hander helped his team secure the win, 2-0. The save went to Tony Wooten, his 10th this season. Walnut Park's record now stands at 59-48, placing them third in the Stripes Conference West Division.
Beau Larson was masterful. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 8 innings.
"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Larson.
